Cencora Hiring: Engineer I – Quality & Testing (Manual/Functional)

Cencora is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA professional to join its growing technology team in Pune. This opportunity is ideal for software testing professionals who have hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Defect Management, Test Planning, Requirement Analysis, and Agile methodologies. As an Engineer I – Quality & Testing, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure applications meet business requirements and maintain the highest quality standards before production release. Participate in projects from inception and help identify testing requirements and strategies. Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test conditions. Execute System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing. Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements. Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle. Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Create and maintain testing artifacts including RTM, test reports, defect reports, and test closure documents. Provide regular QA status updates to project stakeholders and leadership teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.

Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Defect Management, Test Planning & Execution, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Jira, ALM Octane, Microsoft DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Postman, SoapUI, TestCollab. Automation Exposure (Preferred): Selenium, Cucumber, WinRunner, LoadRunner. Enterprise Applications: SAP, Sage, ERP Systems. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Preferred Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Certification, Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), Certified Test Engineer (CTE). Exposure to Automation Testing and Performance Testing. Experience working in Agile or fast-paced project environments. Knowledge of Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domains is advantageous. Understanding of QA governance and quality assurance best practices. Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities. Familiarity with non-functional testing concepts.
