Business Analyst

Cognizant is inviting applications for the Business Analyst role based in Bangalore, India, under a Hybrid Work Model. This position is ideal for professionals with 6–9 years of experience who possess strong analytical skills, expertise in SQL, Java, Spring Boot Microservices, JavaScript, AWS, and Agile methodologies. As a Business Analyst at Cognizant, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable digital solutions that drive enterprise success.

Gather and analyze business requirements. Convert business needs into technical specifications. Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Analyze enterprise business processes. Work with SQL and PL/SQL to validate business data. Support Spring Boot microservice solution design. Collaborate with development and QA teams. Participate in Agile sprint planning and backlog refinement. Create process flows and system interaction diagrams. Define API payloads and interface specifications. Assist in AWS cloud solution planning. Prepare user documentation and release notes. Support production issue analysis. Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across hybrid environments.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline. 6–9 years of Business Analyst experience. Strong SQL & Database knowledge. Experience working with Java & Spring Boot projects. Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services. Excellent analytical and documentation skills. Strong stakeholder communication abilities. Experience working in Agile environments.
