Associate DevOps Engineer

NTT DATA is hiring freshers for the Associate DevOps Engineer role at its Bengaluru location. This is a hybrid full-time position open to candidates from 2024, 2025, and 2026 batches with degrees in B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, BCA, MCA, or B.Sc. The role involves requirement analysis, CI/CD pipeline management, system deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and SLA support. Candidates should have basic understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation tooling, source code repositories (Git/GitHub), application environments, and Agile processes (SCRUM/KANBAN). Preferred qualifications include cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) and scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby).

Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with Platform Specialists to analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. System Deployment: Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure smooth installation and deployment of software solutions into production environments. Troubleshooting: Examine program logic errors, recommend corrective actions, and escalate complex problems appropriately. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for application use, security protocols, and task descriptions for ongoing maintenance. SLA Support: Support implemented code sets in production environments, strictly adhering to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Entry-level experience within Software Development, Support, or deploying software in an IT environment. Core Required Skills: Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies, development, and platform engineering. Entry-level knowledge of Automation tooling and source code repositories (Git, GitHub, etc.). Understanding of application environments (hardware platforms, databases, OS, and storage). Knowledge of Agile processes like SCRUM or KANBAN. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant DevOps or Agile certifications. Certifications in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
