Job Description
As a DevOps & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and testing infrastructure that support embedded camera and vision systems. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, validation teams, and external partners to ensure smooth software delivery, integration, testing, and deployment across multiple platforms. The role combines DevOps engineering, software automation, testing, and embedded systems exposure, making it an excellent opportunity for aspiring engineers looking to work in advanced automotive technology environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools for embedded camera and vision systems. Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous software delivery. Develop and integrate automated test suites to improve software quality and reliability. Support performance profiling and optimization of embedded systems. Work with Linux, Android, and QNX-based environments. Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers. Analyze and clarify system requirements and technical specifications. Support software integration and release activities. Troubleshoot build, deployment, and automation-related issues. Maintain documentation for automation frameworks and testing strategies. Improve DevOps processes and software delivery efficiency. Contribute to scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages. Experience developing automation tools and scripts. Knowledge of software automation best practices. Ability to troubleshoot and enhance automation workflows. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices. Hands-on exposure to GitLab CI/CD. Familiarity with software build and deployment pipelines. Understanding of release and integration workflows. Basic exposure to AWS cloud services. Familiarity with GCP fundamentals. Understanding of cloud deployment concepts. Knowledge of cloud-based development workflows. Understanding of embedded software development. Familiarity with Linux operating systems. Exposure to Android platforms. Basic knowledge of QNX environments. Understanding of debugging and deployment processes. Hands-on experience with Git. Source code management concepts. Branching and collaboration workflows.
