Tester II – Software Testing (SDET)

UST is hiring Tester II – Software Testing (SDET) for 16 openings in Hyderabad. The role involves designing and executing manual and automated test cases, developing scalable automation frameworks, performing functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing, executing API testing, collaborating with Agile Scrum teams, improving automation coverage, working with AI-powered testing solutions, and ensuring software quality throughout the SDLC. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience in Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST API testing, automation framework development, and related testing technologies. The position offers exposure to telecom and ERP applications, cloud testing, and AI-driven quality engineering.

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases. • Develop scalable automation frameworks. • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing. • Execute API Testing and validate backend services. • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams. • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Perform defect analysis and root cause identification. • Improve automation coverage and testing efficiency. • Work with AI-powered testing solutions. • Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC. • Generate detailed execution reports and quality metrics. • Support release validation and production deployments.

2–3 years of experience in Selenium, Playwright, Appium, REST API Testing, Automation Framework Development, and related testing technologies. Strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript, functional and regression testing, automation frameworks, test case design, defect tracking, reporting, and SDLC/STLC. Manual testing expertise and understanding of Agile methodologies are also essential.
