This team is responsible for developing critical switching solutions that support authorization, clearing, settlement, and various payment-related services across Mastercard's global network. As a Software Engineer I, you will become part of a newly established engineering team focused on building highly scalable and resilient payment infrastructure capable of supporting modern payment message formats such as ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Full Stack applications. Build innovative switching solutions for payment processing systems. Develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Participate in Agile (SAFe) product development activities. Collaborate with global teams across multiple locations. Work closely with business owners and testing teams. Support CI/CD and automation initiatives. Improve software quality through code reviews and best practices. Develop solutions supporting ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 payment messaging. Coordinate with vendors and technology partners. Contribute to cloud-native and containerized application development. Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.

Strong Java development experience. Knowledge of Full Stack product development. Understanding of Agile methodologies. Experience with CI/CD practices. Exposure to automation and quality initiatives.
