Software Engineer

Honeywell is hiring Software Engineers for their Bengaluru location. The role involves collaborating with senior developers to ship new features, working with relational and document databases, adapting to Agile practices, and understanding performance expectations. Candidates will be involved in requirements and design, software architecture and coding, integration, certification, test, feature definition, customer support, verification and validation. The position is open to both freshers and experienced candidates with a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics; Backend development with cloud knowledge; Proficiency in designing and building advanced applications using REST API in C#.Net; Expertise in Python; Experience coding microservice solutions; Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Mongo/Cosmos; Strong unit testing skills including edge cases, usability, and reliability; Proficiency with automated unit tests using xUnit and NUnit; Good knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure (configuration, deployment, automation); Ability to work with Architects to understand design and translate into code; Application of software engineering concepts (OOP, SOLID principles, architecture patterns); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
