Zensar Technologies is looking for a talented Software Engineer – Core Java to join our team in Pune. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a mission-critical Order Management System (OMS) used within Capital Markets trading platforms. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in Java backend development, strong SQL skills, and working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments. You will be involved in application development, production support, issue analysis, bug fixing, and enhancement of enterprise-grade software systems.

Develop, enhance, test, and maintain backend applications using Core Java. Analyze and troubleshoot application issues using logs, SQL queries, and UNIX/Linux commands. Fix bugs and implement minor enhancements in OMS applications. Participate in code reviews, testing, and defect resolution activities. Support production issue investigation and root cause analysis. Collaborate with senior engineers to understand system architecture and coding standards. Follow SDLC processes, release management practices, and coding best practices. Document issue analysis, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in Java backend development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn complex business-critical systems and trading workflows.
