Software Engineer - Azure Data

Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Azure Data engineering team (Microsoft Fabric) in Bangalore. This is a full-time individual-contributor role suited to freshers who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and can code in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python. The role follows a hybrid model (about three days a week in office). The Azure Data engineering team leads transformation of analytics with products like databases, data integration, big-data analytics, messaging, real-time analytics and business intelligence including Microsoft Fabric. As a Software Engineer you will build and ship features for these cloud-scale data products. Microsoft is a global technology leader building cloud, productivity, gaming and AI products used by billions. Its Azure and data-engineering teams in India work on cloud-scale platforms like Microsoft Fabric, making it an excellent place for freshers to grow a software-engineering career.

- Design, develop and ship features for Azure Data and Microsoft Fabric products. - Write clean, testable and maintainable code in one or more languages. - Collaborate with senior engineers on data, analytics and cloud services. - Debug, test and improve the reliability and performance of services. - Learn and apply modern software-engineering and cloud best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). - Proven ability to code in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python. - Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and problem solving. - Willingness to learn cloud, data and analytics technologies. - Ability to meet Microsoft’s standard security-screening requirements for the role.
