Software Development Engineer I – APIDEL Technologies

APIDEL Technologies is hiring a Software Development Engineer I for its Bangalore office. The role focuses on building enterprise‑grade applications using modern Java, AWS, and cloud technologies. You will design and develop scalable backend systems, create secure RESTful web services, write clean and maintainable Java code, and implement comprehensive unit tests. The position involves Agile development, collaboration with product and development teams, sprint planning, code reviews, performance optimization, and debugging in production. Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, core Java programming, and AWS cloud services are required.

Design and develop scalable backend applications.\nBuild secure and efficient RESTful web services.\nWrite clean, reusable, and maintainable Java code.\nDevelop backend components using modern software engineering practices.\nCreate comprehensive unit tests for application modules.\nCollaborate with Product Managers and Development teams.\nParticipate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, and Code Reviews.\nAnalyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.\nOptimize application performance and scalability.\nDebug production issues and implement fixes.\nMaintain high coding standards and documentation.\nWork with AWS cloud infrastructure and backend databases.

Strong Core Java programming, deep knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms, Unit Testing, Web/Application Development, AWS Cloud, DynamoDB, NoSQL Databases, REST APIs, and Backend Development. Proficiency with Git, Agile Methodology, and Software Engineering Principles. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities.
