Senior SDET - API Testing, Performance Testing, CI/CD

Dexian is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to own the complete testing lifecycle—from planning and strategy to automation, performance testing, and production quality assurance. This role emphasizes Quality Engineering from the beginning of the SDLC, collaborating with developers, architects, and DevOps teams. Key areas include API testing, performance testing, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.

Design comprehensive testing strategies for distributed applications. Collaborate with Developers, Architects, and Product Owners. Build automation solutions for REST APIs and backend services. Validate OAuth2 authentication workflows. Perform schema validation and API contract verification. Test asynchronous communication (webhooks/messaging queues). Create and automate Postman collections. Build performance testing suites using Apache JMeter. Define scalability benchmarks. Participate in CI/CD pipelines. Review application architecture. Improve software reliability through continuous testing. Mentor junior QA engineers.

5+ years in Software Testing/SDET roles. Advanced REST API Testing. OAuth2 Authentication. JSON Schema Validation. Postman/Newman. JMeter. Contract Testing (Pact preferred). CI/CD Pipelines.
