The demand for highly skilled Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) continues to grow as organizations invest heavily in scalable payment platforms and cloud-native applications. This Remote SDET opportunity involves designing automation frameworks, improving platform reliability, and working with modern technologies like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TypeScript, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and AI-assisted testing. The role offers permanent remote work across India, ownership of automation frameworks from architecture to implementation, work with AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, exposure to AI-assisted automation and LLM-based testing, building highly scalable automation platforms, performance engineering using k6, Locust, or JMeter, improving observability through Grafana, Prometheus, and intelligent reporting, and collaboration with Development, DevOps, Product, and QA teams.

Own and continuously improve automation frameworks; Build scalable UI, API, and backend automation suites; Develop reusable QA tools and utilities; Maintain automation coding standards; Implement test observability dashboards and analytics; Execute performance, load, and scalability testing; Maintain Docker and Kubernetes-based testing environments; Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers; Improve automation stability and reduce flaky tests; Enhance CI/CD quality gates; Build intelligent retry mechanisms and failure analysis systems; Research AI-assisted testing and smart test generation; Promote Shift-Left testing practices; Create technical documentation and onboarding guides.

Strong expertise in modern automation engineering including Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, API Automation, REST API Testing, Backend Testing, UI Automation, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing; Programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python; Performance tools: k6, Locust, JMeter; Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD; Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Slack Integrations; Additional skills: Distributed Systems, Microservices, System Design, SQL & Databases, Test Reporting, AI-assisted Testing (Preferred), LLM-based Test Generation (Preferred); Bachelor's Degree; 4-7 years experience (5+ preferred).
