Responsibilities
Build and maintain robust UI automation suites using Playwright. Develop and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured. Contribute to the design, enhancement, and maintenance of automation frameworks. Ensure applications meet functional and non-functional requirements before release. Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Scrum Teams. Identify, track, reproduce, and verify software defects efficiently. Continuously improve test coverage, automation effectiveness, and testing practices. Utilize AI and GenAI tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
Strong Java programming knowledge. Practical experience creating automated UI tests using Playwright including cross-browser testing, web application automation, UI validation, test framework development, and test execution optimization. Experience with API testing and automation using Rest Assured including API validation, response verification, contract testing, service-layer automation, and backend testing. Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks that are scalable, reusable, and easy to maintain. Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, authentication mechanisms, request-response validation, and API integration testing. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, CI/CD Pipelines, automated build processes, and continuous testing workflows.
