As a Manual Test Engineer, candidates will be responsible for executing manual testing activities across multiple product features to ensure defect-free and high-quality software releases. The role involves requirement analysis, test scenario creation, system-level testing, defect management, certification testing, and collaboration with development teams. Engineers joining this role will gain hands-on exposure to testing smart TV platforms, information display systems, broadcast service operator integrations, and content provider certifications including platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, Tata Play, and Airtel. Perform comprehensive manual testing activities across product features to ensure high-quality software releases with minimal defects and maximum stability. Analyze business requirements, product specifications, test scenarios, and test data to create effective testing strategies aligned with project objectives. Execute system-level testing for smart TVs, information display systems, monitors, and related consumer electronics platforms to validate end-to-end functionality. Conduct certification testing for broadcast service operators and content providers including Tata Play, Airtel, Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, and similar platforms. Identify, document, track, and manage software defects using standard defect management tools while ensuring timely issue resolution and closure. Prepare detailed test execution reports, quality summaries, testing documentation, and stakeholder status updates throughout the testing lifecycle. Collaborate closely with development teams, certification teams, and cross-functional engineering groups to analyze issues and improve product quality. Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, testing methodologies, certification compliance requirements, and organizational testing processes. Support validation activities by verifying application functionality, usability, compatibility, and operational performance across multiple environments. Participate in continuous learning initiatives by adopting new testing tools, technologies, software quality practices, and testing methodologies. Contribute to process improvements and testing efficiency enhancement through analytical thinking, structured execution, and attention to detail. Maintain professionalism, accountability, and ownership while working within collaborative and fast-paced software engineering environments.

Candidates must possess BE/BTech, MCA, or MTech qualifications from recognized institutions in eligible engineering disciplines. Eligible streams include Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), and Instrumentation Engineering. Only 2025 and 2026 graduating candidates with a minimum academic score of 70% and above are eligible to apply. Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, software development concepts, and quality assurance principles is required. Good analytical aptitude, logical reasoning abilities, and structured problem-solving skills are essential for handling testing and validation tasks. Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or scripting languages with awareness of automation testing practices is preferred. Fundamental understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux along with basic SQL and database concepts is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality assurance, defect identification, accuracy, and execution precision are important for this role. Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and prepare professional reports or presentations. Team-oriented mindset with adaptability, learning agility, accountability, and willingness to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams. Exposure to testing tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Selenium basics, AWS certifications, Python certifications, or AI-related technologies will be advantageous.
