State Street's Charles River Development (CRD) team is hiring for two Apprentice openings in Hyderabad: an IT PMO Analyst – Apprentice and a Software Engineer (Technical Implementation) – Apprentice. Both are structured, entry-level programs for recent graduates and early-career professionals. The IT PMO Analyst role supports project management for banking software implementation in a cloud deployment environment, defining project plans, automating BAU processes with SharePoint/Python/C++/Java, tracking SaaS deployments, and reporting on project status. The Software Engineer role supports implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), configuring application components, writing SQL queries for data validation, assisting with automation scripts, and participating in system testing.
Responsibilities
IT PMO Analyst: Define project plans in partnership with senior project managers; define and implement solutions to automate BAU processes using SharePoint, Python, C++ or Java; maintain project artifacts, document lessons learned and provide status reporting; coordinate SaaS upgrade and technical onboarding activities, and track infrastructure deployment for new regions; work with SQL/VBA/C++ and the technical support team to consolidate technical artifacts per SDLC standards. Software Engineer (Technical Implementation): Participate in product implementation and support activities under guidance from senior team members; learn and assist in configuring application components based on business requirements; support data analysis, validation and reconciliation activities; write and execute SQL queries; assist in developing simple programs, utilities and automation scripts; participate in functional, integration and regression testing, and help troubleshoot application issues.
Requirements
Graduate degree with interest in project management, software development or financial technology; basic understanding of programming concepts and database technologies (SQL, Python, Java or C++ exposure is a plus); willingness to learn enterprise applications and investment management workflows; good analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills; positive attitude, curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset.
