Responsibilities
Process approved requests for users, roles, and data access; validate required information; apply documented role-based access standards; and maintain accurate evidence of completed changes. Assist with onboarding, role changes, access removal, and routine account troubleshooting while escalating exceptions or elevated-access decisions. Coordinate Snowflake user forums and communication channels, publish service updates and planned maintenance notices, organize questions, and route issues to the appropriate subject-matter expert. Complete readiness checklists for development, test, and production activities; verify access, objects, scripts, documentation, and support coverage before scheduled changes or releases. Participate in the on-call rotation, monitor replication health and alerts, perform approved first-level recovery steps, collect diagnostic details, and escalate significant incidents. Use GitHub to maintain scripts, configuration, runbooks, and documentation; follow review, approval, and version-control procedures. Create and update support procedures, knowledge articles, request records, readiness checklists, and incident notes. Build Snowflake administration knowledge through training, job shadowing, and hands-on assignments, and take on broader responsibilities as capability develops. Communicate clearly with users and technical partners, provide timely status updates, and contribute to a responsive, customer-focused support experience.
