Data Analyst

Cognizant is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to work with large-scale business datasets and convert complex information into meaningful business insights. The selected candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable analytics solutions using Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel VBA. The role involves building interactive dashboards, automating reports, validating data quality, performing exploratory data analysis, and helping business leaders make informed strategic decisions. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities; Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover meaningful insights; Develop reusable Python scripts for data transformation and reporting; Build scalable analytical models and reporting frameworks; Design interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI; Create advanced Excel workbooks with VBA automation; Improve reporting efficiency through workflow automation; Conduct rigorous data validation and quality assurance; Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements; Translate business problems into analytical solutions; Optimize reporting pipelines and data workflows; Prepare executive-level reports and presentations; Support scenario analysis and business forecasting; Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and business rules; Follow governance, privacy, and security standards; Promote best practices in analytics across teams.
