Automation Tester

Barclays is hiring experienced Automation Testers for its Global Payment Services technology team in Pune. The role involves designing robust automation solutions, improving software quality, and contributing to mission-critical banking applications. Exposure to modern testing technologies, payment platforms, cloud-based development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools.

Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium; Build and execute BDD automation using Cucumber and Gherkin; Develop automated regression and functional test suites; Validate backend data using Oracle SQL; Perform API Testing for REST, SOAP, and Microservices; Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and QA Engineers; Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and Agile ceremonies; Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis; Improve automation coverage and execution performance; Integrate automated tests with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines; Maintain testing standards and documentation; Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
