Automation Test Engineer (Selenium, Java, REST API)

Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java; Perform REST API automation testing using Postman and Rest Assured; Conduct SQL queries for backend validation; Integrate automation with DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins); Execute regression, UAT, and performance automation; Collaborate with global engineering and product teams in Agile/Scrum environment; Perform root cause analysis and defect tracking using JIRA; Build reusable automation components and optimize regression suites; Contribute to AI-assisted testing initiatives; Support financial domain applications (capital markets, lending systems).

4-7 years of experience in automation testing; Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java; Expertise in REST API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI); Solid SQL skills (joins, subqueries, aggregations); Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks; Automation framework design (keyword-driven, data-driven); Version control with Git/BitBucket/SVN; Agile/Scrum and DevOps basics; JIRA/ALM for defect tracking; Financial domain knowledge (capital markets, lending) preferred; Performance testing (JMeter) desirable; Azure cloud basics; AI tools for testing automation a plus.
