Automation Engineer (Playwright) at NiCE

The role involves developing Playwright automation scripts, performing manual and automated end-to-end testing, maintaining automation frameworks, integrating accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines, executing automated UI test cases, generating automation test data, reporting defects using JIRA, maintaining automation infrastructure, supporting low-to-medium complexity engineering tasks, following Agile development methodologies, collaborating with developers and product teams, and participating in continuous learning initiatives. NiCE specializes in CX, AI, Cloud Contact Centers, Workforce Engagement, Digital Self-Service, Analytics, and Automation Solutions, serving organizations across banking, healthcare, telecommunications, retail, insurance, and government sectors.

Develop Playwright automation scripts; Perform manual and automated end-to-end testing; Maintain automation frameworks; Integrate accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines; Execute automated UI test cases; Generate automation test data; Report defects using JIRA; Maintain automation infrastructure; Support low-to-medium complexity engineering tasks; Follow Agile development methodologies; Collaborate with developers and product teams; Participate in continuous learning initiatives.

2-4 years experience in Automation Testing; Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium (equivalent experience), UI Automation, End-to-End Testing, Test Framework Development; Programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java; Testing knowledge in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Accessibility Testing, API Validation; CI/CD experience with Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines; Tools: JIRA, Git, GitHub Copilot (exposure), Claude Code (good to have); Cloud: AWS (preferred); Methodologies: Agile, SDLC, QA Best Practices.
