Associate SW Development Engineer

The Harmonic Off Campus Drive 2026 is hiring an Associate SW Development Engineer at its Bangalore office. You will develop software features for embedded systems, debug and resolve complex cross-layer system issues reported by QA and customers, perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective and preventive solutions. This is a hybrid role (3-4 days a week from the Bangalore office) and a strong start for freshers who love C / C++, networking and low-level systems software at a global video-delivery and broadband technology company.

Develop software features for embedded systems. Debug and resolve complex cross-layer system issues reported by QA and customers. Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective and preventive fixes. Write clean, efficient C / C++ code and collaborate with senior engineers. Work with networking (Layer 2/3) and Linux-based systems.

A B.E in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science with 85% or 8.5 CGPA. No current backlogs, no repeat year or gap in studies. Excellent C / C++ programming and coding skills. Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking protocols; Linux knowledge is an advantage. Scripting (Perl, Python, Bash) is an advantage; fluent English communication.
