Associate QA Engineer

This role is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of software testing experience who enjoy investigating customer-reported issues, validating APIs, performing exploratory testing, and ensuring high product quality. If you have hands-on experience with Manual Testing, Postman, SQL, Jira, and production issue troubleshooting, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS product company. Roles and responsibilities include reproducing and validating customer-reported issues, owning high-priority customer escalations, executing functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing, validating REST APIs using Postman, performing SQL-based data validation and backend verification, analysing application logs and system behaviour to isolate defects, assisting engineering teams with root cause analysis, validating bug fixes before production releases, participating in release verification and production validation, maintaining detailed test documentation and defect reports, and collaborating with Product, Support, Customer Success, and Engineering teams.

Reproduce and validate customer-reported issues Own high-priority customer escalations from investigation to closure Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing Validate REST APIs using Postman Perform SQL-based data validation and backend verification Analyse application logs and system behaviour to isolate defects Assist engineering teams with root cause analysis Validate bug fixes before production releases Participate in release verification and production validation Maintain detailed test documentation and defect reports Collaborate with Product, Support, Customer Success, and Engineering teams
