Job Description
The CGI Application Support Engineer 2026 role is for someone who does not just monitor issues but drives them to resolution with speed and accuracy. You will be the eyes and ears of production – spotting issues before they escalate while operating in a high‑performance ODC environment supporting critical applications. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, making this a strong first role for freshers who enjoy troubleshooting and incident management. You will monitor applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace dashboards, own the incident lifecycle via ServiceNow (logging, tracking and resolution), perform incident triage, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis, manage P1 / P2 incidents including bridge‑call coordination, and support post‑deployment validation and application health checks. The selection process includes a resume shortlist, an online assessment on aptitude and IT fundamentals, followed by technical interviews covering monitoring concepts and incident handling, and an HR round before the offer.
