Job Description

Northern Trust is currently hiring Analysts for its Bangalore and Pune offices. If you have a graduate degree, at least one year of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and an interest in banking, financial operations, reporting, and process excellence, this opportunity deserves your attention.

Responsibilities

Process financial transactions accurately within defined SLAs. Ensure daily operational deliverables are completed on time. Prepare and submit operational checklists. Create, execute, and maintain business reports. Monitor daily workflow and identify process trends. Resolve operational issues within established guidelines. Escalate complex issues to supervisors when required. Support operational risk and incident reporting activities. Maintain process documentation and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Improve operational efficiency through continuous learning. Ensure adherence to banking regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

Strong analytical thinking Excellent verbal and written communication Advanced MS Excel knowledge (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) Basic Banking and Financial Services knowledge Report generation and data validation Problem-solving mindset Attention to detail Ability to work under deadlines Good stakeholder management Teamwork and collaboration Operational excellence mindset Quick learning ability
