Responsibilities
Underwrite credit exposures predominantly for English-speaking markets. Perform fundamental analysis covering business, financial, industry and country risks. Use internal and external rating model outputs to support credit assessments. Assess the need for credit extension, relationship profitability and program structures. Interact with front-office sales, business-unit risk partners and credit administration teams.
Requirements
0-2 years of experience rating and/or underwriting at a leading financial institution or rating agency. A bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a high GPA and a degree (or substantial coursework) in finance, accounting, economics or statistics. Understanding of fundamental financial analysis and the ability to review corporate financial statements. Comfort with GAAP/IFRS accounting standards, corporate valuation and forecasting. Familiarity with quantitative credit models (Moody's RiskCalc, CreditEdge) is a plus. CFA program candidates are preferred.
